Black boyle heights
Company of Angels is dedicated to creating theatre that is deeply connected to its community. We share and help give a voice to the many stories that exist in said community. We’re excited to announce our partnership with community organization Black Boyle Heights. Together Company of Angels and Black Boyle Heights will develop and present for the stage an original play called, "We Were There Too," that highlights African Americans from Boyle Heights through shared stories, visuals, and history. We are currently in the early development stage of this play. We're all excited for this collaboration and can't wait to present the play to Los Angeles residents.
