Frequently Asked Questions

While we are unlikely to have all the answers, here are some FAQs which might be helpful…

This is an unprecedented time for Company of Angels, its staff and audiences. The pandemic has highlighted not just how fragile we are, but how fragile our industry is. But, we’ve been overwhelmed by the love and support audiences have shown to us since we went dark - thank you.

In the words of our Artistic Director Armando Molina, we are now asking ourselves “How can we serve?”. Our core mission has always been gathering people together, and so we will try and do that in new and innovative ways. Please follow us on social media and continue to be a part of the virtual Company of Angels community in the coming weeks, until we are able to gather together in person once again.

Is Company of Angels closed?

The health and wellbeing of our audiences and staff will always be our top priority. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and following the Government instruction to close theatres, bars and restaurants, Company of Angels at Legacy L.A is closed until further notice. Please check our website and social media channels (Twitter, Facebook & Instagram) to stay up to date on when we will be able to welcome you back to our building.

Which performances are affected?

The following public performances are postponed or cancelled. 1. L.A Short Play Festival 2020 2. Angel City Improv 3. To Read and Stage in L.A Monthyl Reading Series

When will you open?

We are following City & State Government advice at all times, and at present we do not know when we will be able to reopen. Please keep an eye on our website and on our social media channels – we look forward to welcoming you back through our doors. You can also sign up to our e-newsletter for information delivered straight to your inbox.

I have a question who can I speak to?

Our Team is currently working from home and so our phone lines are closed. To contact us, please email info@companyofangels.org We apologize if it takes longer than normal for a response – we are currently processing a huge volume of requests. If email is not the most accessible form of communication for you, please indicate this to us, and we will find an alternative way of helping you. For advice from the Government on anything relating to COVID-19, please visit https://www.cdph.ca.gov/covi19

How can I help?

As a non-profit organization, we rely on ticket sales for a substantial portion of our income, and the insecurity ahead is a huge worry for those who work for and with us, as it is for the theatre sector as a whole. Therefore please consider making a one-off donation here and help us through this challenging time.
